A vibrant vintage suzani textile from Uzbekistan. A traditional suzani pattern has been hand embroidered on to a yellow rayon background with silk threads. The typical black border runs around all four sides of the suzani.
It would look wonderful on a table, draped over the back of a sofa or used as a wall hanging, perhaps behind a bed.
In good condition for its age, there are a few pale marks (see the last photo) but nothing that detracts from the piece.
It measures 1.32m wide x 2.4m long (52 inches wide x 94 inches long)
