The Fête du Citron is an annual festival that takes place in Menton on the French Riveria around Mardi Gras. A wonderful way to brighen up February.

Santons sculpted from clay and painted are used to decorate the Christmas nativity scene throughout Provence. The tradition continues today and makes a colourful Christmas crib.
