Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side.
Size: 1.26m wide x 1.89m long (W50in x L74in). This is a small quilt which will go neatly across the bottom of a single bed or would look lovely folded across the back of a sofa or use it as a picnic blanket. It has wonderful stitching that has created a herringbone effect and a rather faded air. This is a really lovely piece.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
