This rustic vintage grain sack is handwoven from rustic hemp in a mid grey colour with a bright blue stripe and comes from Eastern Europe. It can be used for upholstery, cushions or as a floor mat or bath mat. It's the perfect size to make a large garden bench cushion and it could also be used in the home as a laundry sack.
The sack is in very good condition, photos 1 and 2 show each side of the sack. The fabric is hard wearing and washes well.
Grain sack size : 0.53m wide (21inches ) x 1.02m long (40inches). If you unpick the long seams of the grain sack which was woven on a narrow loom, you will have a piece of fabric that measures 2.04m (80 inches) in length.
Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
