This vintage red and white striped fabric was woven on a narrow loom and comes from Slovenian, the fabric is sturdy and mix of cotton and wool. Two narrow pieces of fabric have been joined down the centre to make this wider piece. This fabric dates from the 1950's.
This type of fabric would traditionally have been used to make pillow covers and bedcovers. It can be used for upholstery, to make cushions, bench seat covers or for blinds. The fabric is in very good condition, hard wearing and reversible. You can use either side of this fabric. The last three photos show some small marks on the fabric and some patches.
Fabric size : 1.12m wide (44inches ) x 1.70m long (67inches).
Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
