This antique French curtain pelmet has a beautiful printed linen fabric with trim on one side, it is stiffened with buckram and has a beige lining fabric on the reverse side. It dates from the beginning of the 20th century and is in very good condition. No fading or marks on the right side of the pelmet, although there are some marks on the reverse side. It could be used to trim a bed canopy or use as a curtain pelmet or trim.
The pelmet measures 2.9m/114inches long x 59cm/23inches deep at each end, the next scallop in from the ends of the pelmet are 43cm/17inches deep and the central five scallops are 39cm/15inches deep.
