This vintage hemp pillow cover was hand-woven on a narrow loom. It comes from Ukraine and would have been stuffed with straw or feathers to use in the home.
This type of fabric is unique, use as a large floor cushion, for upholstery, to make smaller cushions or use the cover as a bath mat or floor mat. Photos 1 and 2 show each side of the cover.
It is in excellent unused condition.
Pillow cover size : 0.53m wide (21inches ) x 1.08m long (43inches).
Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
