This antique French petticoat is made from a mid-weight white cotton, so would be suitable to wear as a skirt, it closes with ties that gather at the back of the waist.
It will fit a 65cm to 95cm waist ( 26inch to 37inch)and is 90cm (35inches) long. US size 4- 12, UK 8-16, EU 36-44.
The diameter of the bottom of the skirt is 2.30m (91 inches).
The underskirt is in good condition with no wear but a few faint marks that don't really show. The hem of the skirt has a pretty scalloped and embroidered edge and the initials EB have been embroidered on the front of the waistband.
Suitable for customisation or just wear as it is - a pretty summer skirt.
Care instructions: machine wash 30C, line dry.
