This antique French petticoat is made from a mid-weight white cotton, so would be suitable to wear as a skirt, it closes with ties that gather at the back of the waist.
It will fit a 61cm to 88cm waist ( 24inch to 35inch)and is 87cm (34inches) long. US size 2- 16, UK 6-12, EU 32-44.
The underskirt is in excellent condition with no marks or wear. It has the initials LC embroidered on the front and there is also a little button hole on the waist band which would have been used to button the petticoat to the dress or overskirt, and prevent it from slipping down.
Suitable for customisation or just wear as it is - a pretty summer skirt.
Care instructions: machine wash 30C, line dry.
