Antique French Hemp Cloth Pink Stripe

This antique French hemp cloth is a creamy white with a raspberry pink stripe down each side. The initials AR  are embroidered in the centre. There are a few small rust marks in one area but otherwise in very good condition.  Originally this type of cloth was used as a towel as the hemp is very soft. 

Use as a tablecloth,  or for your sewing projects to make a small curtain, blind or cushions.

Size :  1m wide (39inches ) x 1.74m long (69inches).

Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
