A finely stitched vintage kantha quilt, recently block printed with a floral design in mossy green and red on a faintly striped background in white pink and beige. The reverse side is striped with a blue block print pattern.

Our vintage kantha quilts are handmade in India from layers of upcycled cotton saris. Each one is unique, with its own combination of colours, fabrics and hand stitching. Little patches, variations in the stitching and occasional extra embroidery all add to their character and charm.
Each side of a kantha is different, the first four photos show one side of the quilt. The last two photos show the reverse side.
