Vintage Kantha Quilt 167

Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour.  Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery  add character and charm.

Each side of a vintage kantha is made from  different fabric, the first three photos show one side of the quilt and the last three photos show the reverse side. The yellow is a very deep egg yolk yellow and the orange reverse side is what I would call 'easy jet' orange.

Size:  1.60m wide x 2.26m long (W63in x L89in). This quilt will fit a single bed.  It will also go across a  double bed,  a UK 5ft king/US queen bed and a UK 6ft super king bed as a throw.

100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
