Vintage Kantha Quilt 122

Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour.  Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery  add character and charm. 

Each side of a vintage kantha is made from  different fabric, the first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side. This quilt has a beautifully stitched border on all four edges. The colour on the reverse side is slightly patchy.

Size:  1.36m wide  x 2.18m long (W54in x L86in). This quilt will fit a single bed. It will also go across a  double bed, a UK 5ft king/US queen bed as a throw and a UK 6ft super king bed as a throw.

 

100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
