Vintage Hungarian Floor Runner. Rips Rug. 3.66m Long

This vintage Hungarian Rips runner is a gorgeous deep coral red with green and yellow stripes and checks. It would make a great hall or corridor runner. It is freshly laundered, and in excellent condition. The runner is reversible which means you can use both sides before you need to wash it. There is what appears to be a slight mark on this runner, see the fourth photo, it is not a stain but an area where the threads in the weave are irregular.

Our vintage Hungarian Rips runners date from the 1950’s. They were handwoven on a narrow loom and come in lots of different patterns and colours. This runner is woven from cotton and nylon, so will be extra hard wearing.
