Striped Vintage Kantha Quilt Throw 123

This colourful kantha quilt has been handmade in India from a patchwork of strips of up-cycled fabrics.  Kantha quilts are made from layers of fabric sewn together with a tiny running stitch known as a kantha stitch.  

Use as a throw, bed cover, picnic blanket or table cloth. They can also be used in your interior design projects to make curtains, blinds and cushions and to cover headboards, footstools or chairs.

Each side of a vintage kantha is different.  The first five photos show one side of the quilt,  the last three photo shows the reverse side. Both sides are very similar, with lovely patches of colour that all work together. 

Size:  1.20m wide x 2.02m long (W47in x L80in).  This type of kantha looks good folded across the back of a sofa, or use as a throw.

Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
