Red Slovenian Throw Fabric

This vintage fabric is hand-woven on a narrow loom and comes from Slovenian, the fabric is a mix of cotton and wool with an interesting weave and a sturdy feel. Two strips of fabric have been carefully crocheted together to make this wider piece. Use as a throw, for upholstery or to make cushions or blinds.

The fabric is in very good condition and is hard wearing. There are a few marks on the top edge and also a small repair. The first four photos show one side of the fabric and the last three photos show the reverse side which is a brighter red. Either side of this fabric can be used. The red is a deep warm red.


Fabric size : 1.2m wide (47inches ) x 1.24m long (49inches)

Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
