Patchwork Vintage Kantha Quilt Throw 166

This colourful kantha quilt has been handmade in India from a patchwork of strips of up-cycled fabrics.  Kantha quilts are made from layers of fabric sewn together with a tiny running stitch known as a kantha stitch. 

Use as a throw, bed cover, picnic blanket or table cloth. They can also be used in your interior design projects to make curtains, blinds and cushions and to cover headboards, footstools or chairs.

The first six photos show one side of the quilt and patch detail, the last three photos show the reverse side. Vintage kanthas are a handmade product, the pattern and stitching can be irregular. 

Size:  1.29m wide x1.75m long  (W51in x L69in). This quilt will fit a single bed. It will also go across a double bed as a throw. 

Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
