Pair of Antique French Curtains
These late 19th century printed cotton curtains came from a chateau in the centre of France. They were originally used as bed curtains, but I have divided them up into more manageable sizes. This pair of curtains have 3 widths of fabric each and are very long. There is plenty of fabric to make fuller shorter curtains if you wish. The curtains are entirely hand stitched with tiny neat stitches including a band at the top with rings for hanging the curtains. Please note these curtains are not lined and one of the curtains is more faded than the other. See photo 2 for the faded curtain and photo 3 for the less-faded curtain.
Width at top of each curtain 1.17m (46 inches)
Width at bottom of each curtain 2.4m (94 inches)
Length 3.37m long (133 inches),
These curtains are clean and dust free but have not been dry cleaned. There are some areas with marks and there are some holes at the bottom of the faded curtain - see photo 4, but the fabric is sound. The marks do not detract from the overall effect of the pattern of the fabric and are only noticeable close up.

I also have another pair of these curtains, search for VL357. They are in a better condition.
