Large Vintage French Bedspread Pique de Marseille

A beautiful vintage French medium weight cotton bedspread. This type of bedspread is called a 'pique Marseillais', but  is also known as a marriage quilt.  This bedspread is of exceptional quality and is in excellent condition, no marks and no wear. This bedspread has a very romantic pattern with cherubs and flowers in the design and there are knotted tassels on all four sides.

The bedspread measures 2.06m  wide x 2.2m. long(81inches  x 87 inches). It will fully cover a double bed/4ft6/140cm and a 5ft/king size/ 160cm bed.

Care instructions: machine wash 40C
