A large piece of antique French ticking with a colourful stripe.
This former mattress cover measures 1.44m wide (57 inches long) x 1.90m long (75inches). However the fabric is the same on each side of the cover, so you have 3.80 metres of fabric (150 inches) in total.
The cover has been unpicked along the bottom and along one long edge, but the other side is still stitched together. It would be easy to unpick or to re-stitch if you wished to make it back into a mattress.
This fabric is in very good condition, no wear but a few small holes and repairs. Perfect for upholstery, cushions, seat covers and other sewing projects. Hard wearing and machine washable.
The colours are soft and the quality of the fabric is superb. Photos 2 and 3 show each side of the cover.
Washed and ready to use.
