This antique French quilt has a beautiful floral print on one side and a selection of even older fabrics on the reverse side.  This country style French quilt or 'piqué' dates from the mid 19th century and is in very good condition on the front side - I can see one mark which is barely visible. The reverse shows some wear to the middle.  This quilt is in 'as found' condition but it is clean and fresh.

It would look very decorative used on the bed, on a table, or folded on the back of a sofa as a display item.

The quilt measures 1.65m wide x 1.8m long (65 inches x 71inches)

Cotton and linen  with wool filling.
