Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is usually different, but in this case the same fabric has been used on each side. The first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side.
Size: 1.22m wide x 1.65m long (W48in x L65in). This is a small quilt which will go neatly across the bottom of a single bed or would look lovely folded across the back of a sofa or use it as a picnic blanket.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
