Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first four photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side.
Size: 1.46m wide x 2.06m long (W57in x L81in). This quilt will fit a single bed. It will also go across a double/140cm/4ft6' bed as a throw. This was a tricky colour to photograph, so the first two photos of the quilt represents the orange colour more accurately than the next two photos which show you the overall pattern.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
