Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first four photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side.
Size: 1.13m wide x 2.03m long (W44in x L80in). This is a small quilt which will go neatly across the bottom of a single bed or would look lovely folded across the back of a sofa or use it as a picnic blanket. It has wonderful geometric stitching which is a bit different to your traditional kantha running stitch and lovely fringed edges on all four sides.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
