Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last three photos show the reverse side.
Size: 1.55m wide x 1.96m long (W61in x L77in). This is a small quilt which will fit a single bed or go across the bottom of a double bed. It would also look lovely folded across the back of a sofa or use it as a picnic blanket. This quilt has been made up with strips of fabric and extra embroidery to add detail.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
