This piece of red and white check fabric comes from the Alsace region of France and is know as kelsch fabric, a mix of handwoven linen and cotton. This piece has been unpicked from the front of a bedcover. The fabric was woven on a narrow loom so there is a join down one side. It is in good condition, no wear but some marks in one area, see the last photo. Use to make cushions, a blind or a tablecloth.
Size : 1.4m wide (55inches ) x 1.64m long( 65inches).
Care instructions: Machine wash - warm. Line dry.
