Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last photo shows the reverse side. This piece has been block printed with a fabulous floral pattern.
Size: 1.38m wide x 2.25m long (W54in x L89in). This quilt will fit a single bed. It will also go across a double bed, a UK 5ft king/US queen bed and a UK 6ft super king bed as a throw.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
