Vintage Kantha Quilt Throw 192

This colourful kantha quilt has been handmade in India from  up-cycled fabrics and adorned with several neat patches.  Kantha quilts are made from layers of fabric sewn together with a tiny running stitch known as a kantha stitch. 

Use as a throw, bed cover, picnic blanket or table cloth. They can also be used in your interior design projects to make curtains, blinds and cushions and to cover headboards, footstools or chairs.

The first six photos show one side of the quilt and patch detail, the last two photos show the reverse side. Vintage kanthas are a handmade product, the pattern and stitching can be irregular. 

Size:  1.6m wide x 2.31m long  (W63in x L91in). This quilt will fit a single bed and a double bed. It will also go across a 5ft/king/US Queen/160cm and a 6ft/super king/180cm bed as a throw. 

Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
