Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last photo shows the reverse side.
Size: 1.58m wide x 2.34m long (W62in x L92in). This quilt will fit a single bed and will go across a double bed/4ft6"/140cm, a 5ft UK king/US queen/160cm bed and a 6ft/UK super king/180cm bed as a throw.
Medium weight.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
