Striped & Ikat Vintage Kantha Quilt 183

Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour.  Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery  add character and charm.

Each side of a vintage kantha is different, the first seven photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the  reverse side. This quilt does have some wear and the top layer has rubbed through to the kantha below (see photos 4,5,6 as an example).  I have patched one area with a Liberty print patch.

Size:1.47m wide x 2.19m long (W58in x L86in). This quilt will fit a single bed. It will also go across a double bed,  a UK 5ft king/US queen bed as a throw.

 100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
