This kantha quilt has been handmade in India from up-cycled fabric that has been overstitched in chain stitch with a suzani style pattern. Kantha quilts and throws are made from layers of fabric sewn together with a tiny running stitch known as a kantha stitch.
Each side of a kantha quilt is different, the first six photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side.
