This antique French cotton petticoat is made from a mid-weight white cotton, so would be suitable to wear as a skirt, it closes with ties that gather at the waist.
The waist is adjustable and will measures 60cm to 80cm (24 to 31 inches) , the length is 98cm (38inches). It will fit a size US 12 to 16, UK 8 to 14, EU 36 to 44. The initials IJ have been embroidered on to the front of the waistband.
The diameter of the bottom of the skirt is 2.50m (98inches). The scalloped frilled trim is 24cm deep. The skirt can also be gathered further down the back panel which gives an interesting shape to the skirt.
This pretty skirt is in very good condition, but there are a few marks on the inside of the bottom frill of the skirt (however they don't show) - see the last photo.
Suitable for customisation or just wear as it is - a pretty summer skirt.
Care instructions: machine wash 30C, line dry.
