A beautiful antique French cotton bedspread, that has been entirely hand made with a combination of knitting, sewing and embroidery. It dates from the early 20th century and is in excellent condition.
The work that has gone into this bedspread is really incredible. The end result is a beautiful and unusual piece that despite being just one colour has real depth and texture with the different techniques that have been used.
It measures 1.5m wide x 2m long (59inches wide x 79inches long) and would look lovely draped across the back of sofa or used on the bed.
