This antique French curtain or tablecloth has been made entirely by hand using lots of different lace making techniques.
The white lace panel measures 1.40m wide (55 inches) x 2.28m long (90 inches).
This panel dates from the 1900's, it was originally made as a tablecloth, but I think it would make a fantastic curtain panel or wall hanging. The lacework features flowers and ribbons.
Several different techniques have been used to make this remarkable piece including filet work, cutout work and tatted lace. The filet work border runs along all four sides of the panel.
The panel is in excellent unused condition.
