This antique French bedcover was hand loomed from a mix of cotton and linen. The striped cover consists of 7 narrow pieces of fabric stitched together to form the cover. Both sides are made from the same fabric, a sturdy cotton drill and are in excellent condition. Originally this type of cover would have been stuffed with an eiderdown.
Use as a duvet cover, a throw, for upholstery or to make cushions.
Cover size : 1.46m wide (57inches ) x 1.82m long (72inches). The cover is open at one end.
Care instructions: Machine wash - 40C. Line dry.
