Antique French Linen Tea Towels 2 Pieces

These antique French linen dish cloths have a soft red stripe running down each long edge of the tea towel and are beautifully hand embroidered in cross-stitch with the initials JF. The linen is a bright white. I doubt these cloths were ever used as they are in very good condition. There is one repair on an edge of one of the cloths - see the fifth photo.

Each dishcloth measures 78cm long (31inches)x43cm wide (17inches)
