A vintage French hemp or chanvre (the French translation) sheet, natural unbleached sandy colour embroidered with the initials LL in the top corner. It is in excellent condition and has no signs of wear, in fact I doubt it has ever been used. The sheet has been freshly laundered and is ready to use. This is a really sturdy piece of hemp, so I don't think you would want to use it for sheets, although it would soften over time, however it would be perfect for upholstery or curtains. This fabric is also suitable for dyeing.
I have 2 identical sheets available. The first two photos are the most accurate colour wise.
This sheet measures 2.16m wide x 2.26m long. (85 inches wide x 89 inches long).
Care instructions: machine wash 40C
