This antique French whole cloth quilt dates from the mid 19th century and has a bold red and white floral pattern on one side and a later floral print on the reverse side. Both sides are in good condition, although there are some marks on the red and white side on the borders of the quilt - see photos 5 to 7. The quilt has a wool filling.
The quilt measures 1.9m wide x 2.06m long (75inches x 81inches)
This quilt has been carefully laundered.
Will fit a UK double/4ft 6inch/140cm bed. It would also make a spectacular wall hanging.
