This roomy tote has been handmade from a vintage Indian Kantha quilt. It would make a great beach or overnight bag or use it to tidy away and transport your children's toys. The webbing straps fit comfortably in your hand. Each side of the bag is made from the same kantha quilt but the pattern varies, the first two photos show one side of the bag and the next two photos the other side.
This bag has quite a worn air to it, the top layers of fabric have rubbed away in places and the fabric underneath is showing through adding texture and interest to the piece.
This bag is unlined but the interior of the bag is the reverse side of the kantha quilt and all seams are professionally finished.
