Vintage Kantha Quilt 62

Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour.  Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery  add character and charm.

Each side of a vintage kantha is made from  different fabric, the first three photos show one side of the quilt and the last photo show the reverse side. 

Size:  1.28m wide x 2.08m long (W50in x L89in). This quilt will fit a single bed. It will also go across a  double bed and UK 5ft king/US queen bed as a throw.

This particular kantha is lightweight and has very fine stitching, so it would be suitable for dressmaking - perhaps for making a jacket or a dressing gown.

100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
