A large vintage French cotton bedspread. This type of bedspread is called a 'pique Marseillais', and is also known as a marriage quilt. There is a handmade cotton crochet lace trim on the bottom edge of the bedcover.
The bedspread measures 2.38m wide x 2.06m long plus the crochet trim which adds 17cm . (94inches wide x 81inches long). To fit a king/US queen/5ft/160cm bed and also a super king/6ft/180cm bed.
This bedspread is of exceptional quality and is in excellent condition.
Care instructions: machine wash 40C
