Our vintage kantha quilts and throws are handmade in India from up-cycled cotton saris. They can be used on the bed, as a sofa throw, in fact anywhere you want a bit of extra warmth and a splash of colour. Each piece is unique, so the size and the stitching detail can vary. Little patches and extra embroidery add character and charm.
Each side of a vintage kantha is made from different fabric, the first five photos show one side of the quilt and the last two photos show the reverse side. This quilt has been block printed with a floral design in soft autumnal colours.
Size: 1.76m wide x 2.30m long (W69in x L90in). This quilt will fit a single or a double bed and will go across a UK 5ft king/US queen bed or a UK 6ft/super king/180cm bed as a throw. This is an unusually large vintage kantha so you could also make a cosy door curtain with it.
100% Cotton. Machine wash 30C. All our quilts are freshly laundered in the UK and are ready to use.
