An antique French linen sheet embroidered with the initials J A in tiny red cross stitch. It is an off-white colour and in excellent condition, no wear or marks. The linen has a good weight to it. Use as bedlinen, a bed cover or tablecloth or use it to make a summery curtain or cushions. This fabric is also suitable for dyeing and upholstery.
This fabric was woven on a narrow loom and each sheet consists of 2 long pieces of fabric that have been joined together down the centre with a tiny hand stitch.
The sheet measures 2.02m wide x 3m long. (80inches wide x 118inches long).
To fit a single bed and a double bed 4ft 6inches as a bedspread /throw.
Care instructions: machine wash 40C
